Diane Gosselin is an artist from Quebec City. Now based in Montreal, her structured abstract works are composed of several layers of colour. She experiments with various tones and transparencies to create satisfyingly harmonious pieces.
Originally from Quebec City, Diane Gosselin now lives and works in Montreal. She has a degree in graphic design and has worked as a digital art director for twenty years.
About her approach:
“Ideas come to me instinctively in the search for chromatic and formal harmonies. By working with colors, transparency and textures, images emerge and develop in unpredictable ways by sometimes random, unexpected or accidental processes. I work mainly with acrylic on canvas and wood panel.
I am an emotional person who discovers in the practice of painting, drawing and creation in general, a way to realize myself and to communicate.”
